Truck Pilot, LLC ("Truck Pilot") is an Illinois limited liability company headquartered at 1849 Green Bay Rd Ste 109, Highland Park, IL 60035. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, ELD hardware, and software services (collectively, the "Services").
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, company, email, phone, billing details.
- Vehicle & driver data: VINs, GPS location, engine diagnostics, and hours of service logs.
- Usage data: log files, device identifiers, IP addresses, and dashboard activity.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve the Services, comply with FMCSA recordkeeping requirements, process payments, communicate with you, and detect fraud or unauthorized use.
4. How We Share Information
We share information with authorized carrier personnel, regulators upon valid legal request, and trusted service providers under written confidentiality agreements. We do not sell personal information.
5. Data Retention
ELD records are retained for the minimum periods required by 49 CFR Part 395 (currently six months) plus any period required by your carrier policies. Account data is retained while the account is active.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
U.S. residents may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information about them, subject to legal and regulatory recordkeeping obligations. Contact us at info@truckpilot.io to make a request.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
